Diploma Course
This 100-hour assessed training will be of interest to all experienced practitioners wishing to develop their supervisory skills. It will be of value both to those already supervising others in the helping professions, or to those who are considering undertaking supervisory work.
The training offers a solid foundation in the theory and practice of supervision that will be applicable to helping professionals coming from a wide theoretical range. The course integrates the work of Hawkins & Shohet, and Inskipp & Proctor, and this is underpinned by an Adlerian base that emphasises encouragement, a holistic approach and an understanding of the social purpose of human interaction. We actively encourage participants to explore and integrate additional supervisory ideas.
The Diploma course is accredited by ASIIP (Diploma in Supervision - An Adlerian Integrative Approach).
